New to Christ Point

Whether you are familiar with church or just beginning your spiritual walk, we want all of our guests to feel welcome at Christ Point. We hope you enjoy every aspect of your visit and invite you to worship alongside us. If you are looking for a church to attend or are considering becoming a member of the Christ Point family, we would love to meet with you and connect.

Everyone is welcome to attend our weekly services and church events at their leisure; however, if you are new to Christ Point, we invite you to schedule a Welcome Orientation. Orientation is a good introduction to Christ Point, allows us to get to know you, and covers the ways in which you can get involved in worship, fellowship, and personal spiritual growth.

What to Expect

When you arrive, you will park along the front or side of the building (someone can assist you if needed), located at 700 Dunlap Rd NE, in Milledgeville. You will see our signage on the property billboard, in the lawn, and on the front door. You will be greeted by our guest services team and directed appropriately (they will be glad to answer any specific questions you may have). You and/or your family may sit where you would like as we prepare to kickoff service.

We would love for you to fill out a Connection Card, we like to keep everyone informed of all upcoming events!

What is the Atmosphere Like?

You will see those who are dressed up, as well as those who are dressed business casual; we would like you to feel comfortable while you worship with us. We worship through song, share testimonies, have focused prayer, and receive the Word of God through preaching and teaching from our pastor and/or ministerial team. The atmosphere is vibrant, joyful, and the power of God is present to meet our needs. Everyone is treated with love. Our services typically last 90 minutes.

Our Services

Sunday Morning Worship kicks off with pre-service prayer from 10 - 10:30am with Service beginning at 10:30am. We open with prayer, worship (singing, clapping, & raising hands), give tithes and offerings, take prayer requests, share testimonies, make announcements, and have preaching (a sermon), followed by a time to respond by consecration / prayer.

Children's Church (on Sunday Morning) the kids stay in the sanctuary during worship and then are dismissed to the kids' service in their designated classroom before the preaching begins to enjoy their own songs and interactive lessons until the end of service (sermon) when they are then reunited with their parent(s) and/or guardian(s).

Wednesday Bible Study we follow the same order of service as on Sundays; however, we take a deeper look at scripture through practical and applicable teaching, growing in the knowledge of the Word of God. On Bible Study night the kids stay in the sanctuary with the adults through the duration of service, this allows us to learn and grow as a family.

Thursday Prayer Meeting is a night of corporate congregational devotional prayer; we pray for various needs represented within and outside of the church and take some extra time to communicate with Christ and gain strength through His Spirit.

Personal Bible Study

One of the most important ways to help you grow and flourish in your walk with God is through studying His Word. At Christ Point we will provide you with an atmosphere that will help you to both understand and apply the teaching of scripture. Our church leadership will use a variety of Bible study lessons to help you learn the Word of God. If you would like to set up a time for personal Bible study, you may contact us for more information.

"There is one body, and one Spirit, even as ye are called in one hope of your calling; One Lord, one faith, one baptism, One God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all." (Ephesians 4:4-6)
